Although designed for the Australian Commonwealth Government, I suggest that
you have a look at the Administrative Functions Disposal Authority issued by
the National Archives of Australia. It is on the web at
http://www.naa.gov.au/recordkeeping/disposal/authorities/GDA/AFDA/summary.ht
ml - you can browse each individual section
The OH&S Function was one of the most regulated of the 17 Administrative
Functions of Keyword AAA (on which the disposal authority is based. The
Authority was compiled using the new appraisal methodolgy and the
methodology for designing and implementing record keeping systems developed
by the Archives in accordance with the requirements of the Australian
Standard for Records Management (AS 4390) (also available on the Archives
website). Both methodologies place a very high importance on the meeting
the requirements of legislation and business needs to make appropriate
recordkeeping decisions.
