NEW ON-LINE LIBRARY AND INFORMATION SERVICES RESEARCH REGISTER
* Are you currently working on some research or a project?
* Would you like to tell your colleagues in the library community
about it?
Whether your work is a demonstrator project, action research,
organisation-based or more fundamental, peers would benefit from your
experiences; and you could benefit from theirs.
MCB University Press is offering the unique opportunity to register your
research on their Library and Information Services Internet Research
Register. The register will build up into an invaluable resource, enabling
the history of research in a particular field to be tracked.
The register focuses on bottom-line research-into-practice. It will allow
the user to:
* Check on research already underway
* Identify research methodologies, possible collaborators and sources
of funding
* Identify types of research, and areas where further research is
required.
The Research Register database is hyperlinked to the LIS journals of MCB
University Press via EMERALD, and is now also available for use through the
public domain service LibraryLINK (at http://www.liblink.co.uk/)
