We are investigating the introduction of a paid research service. We would
be interested to know if other offices which provide such a service have
found them to be effective and if they would be willing to share any
information. In particular:
* have additional staff been employed to carry out the work and, if
so, what qualifications and experience have been required?
* what charges are levied and has sufficient income been generated to
cover costs?
* have customers been satisfied?
* what is the average turnaround time for completing research?
* how have limits been defined for free responses to enquiries and is
any research undertaken for free?
We would be grateful for any replies either on/off list
