A scan of the archives for "regional meeting" came up with only a handful of messages this year, prior

On the recmgmt-l listserv ARMA chapters (located in cities all across North America) regularly post email notices of their monthly meetings. Even though I cann't attend say a Seattle, Washington meeting it is nice to see what an other group's meeting is about. An easy way to spot trends. Many ARMA chapters now send out their monthly newsletters via email rather than by post, so that the membership can receive the information in a more timely manner. There is nothing worse than to receive a meeting notice the day of or day before the scheduled time.
Also if someone is not on email a fax can be sent to them.
