We are shortly going to add our records the Modes program on our computer.
Please could you advise me if there is a code list similar to the Chapman
County Code list as used in Census returns and also the Postal Code system.
I have noticed that in County Record Offices documents say for Buildings are
shown as BLD, Parish Records as PR and Borough Records as BOR. This makes me
think there could well be a list that the Archivists refer to for their
information.
Any help on this point would be very much appreciated.
