Salary: £14,720-16,340 based on experience [short-term contract to end of
March 2001)
The Tate Modern project team is looking for an Archivist/Records Manager to
develop and make accessible the records of the project which has led to the
creation of Tate Modern.
In this post we expect you to survey the records relating to the Tate Modern
project, to sort and classify these records according to international
archival standards, to create finding aids to these records and to advise on
the future records management needs of Tate Modern.
You will need a post-graduate qualification in Archive Administration, or
equivalent, preferably with some experience of records management and the
cataloguing of large collections. The post holder will also need to be
computer literate and have a thorough understanding of current archival
standards.
In addition you will have well-developed interpersonal skills and excellent
organisational and writing skills.
