This exciting project at the Shropshire Records and Research Centre is working
on the cataloguing and
conservation of major collections held in a purpose built repository in the
historic town of Shrewsbury.
ARCHIVE CATALOGUER
(Scale 6) £17,220-£18,372, 12 month contract until July 2001
This post will work on the Powis estate archive, which dates from the
14th-20th centuries, together with one
assistant. All cataloguing will use the CALM 2000 computer system.
You must hold a professional qualification in archive administration.
Experience of CALM 2000 would be an
advantage. Newly qualified applicants are welcome to apply.
