ADMINISTRATOR, NATIONAL LIFE STORY COLLECTION
(FIXED TERM MATERNITY COVER)
The National Life Story Collection (NLSC) records oral history
interviews with all kinds of people all over Britain, from
steelworkers to artists, for the British Library National Sound
Archive, based at St Pancras in London.
This is a fixed-term full-time British Library post to provide
maternity leave cover from 10 July 2000 until March 2001 for the
current postholder who has responsibility for the day-to-day
administration of NLSC within the BL's Oral History Section. We're
looking for someone with experience of office administration, good
financial, computer and people skills, and with a proven interest in
history and archives.
British Library conditions of employment apply. Salary range:
£15,548-£19,435 pa.
