1. Archivist
Full time (35 hrs per week)
Salary: £19,635
Taking responsibility for maintaining the paper and microfilm collections
and managing the further development of the electronic archives and
supervising the work of the Records Management Assistant (Archives), you
will be responsible for establishing good archival practice in the
organization and undertaking staff training.You will have a recognized
qualification in Archives Mangement as well as sound experience of working
in an archival institution, company archives or similar; you will also be a
highly organized good communicator with fluent English and sound Spanish.
A working knowledge of French is desirable.
An interest in the development of tools for the management of electronic
archives is essential for this post.
2. Records Management Assistant (Archives)
24.5 Hrs per week
Salary: £17029 (pro rata)
Working with the Archivist to maintain the organization's paper, microfilm
and electronic archival records, you will have an interest in archives and
experience of working with records in an archival institution, records
office, company archives or similar environment. Good word processing and
organizational skills, experience of using databases and record-keeping
systems, the ability to work as a member of a team and cope with pressure
are essential for this post. You will be a highly organized good
communicator with fluent English and a working knowledge of Spanish. Basic
French is desirable. This post would be suitable for someone intending to
undertake postgraduate training in the field of archives administration.
3. Records Management Assistant (Current Documentation)
28 hrs per week
Salary: £17,029 (pro rata)
Working with the Documentalist to maintain and develop our collection and
database of all official current documents, you will have experience of
working with records in a documentation centre, records office, or similar
environment. Excellent word processing and organizational skills,
experience of using databases and record-keeping systems, the ability to
work as a member of a team and cope with pressure are essential for this
post. You will be a highly organized good communicator with fluent English
and a basic knowledge of Spanish or French. This post would be suitable
for someone intending to undertake postgraduate training in the field of
information management.
