CASBAH Project ~ identifying and mapping national research resources for
Caribbean studies and the history of Black and Asian people in Britain
Project Researcher (Fixed-term contract for 18 months; £13,823) - to assist
with a pioneering project researching and surveying relevant collections
held in UK libraries and archive repositories, inputting survey results into
a database, helping to maintain the Project's web-site, liaising with
project partners and advisors, disseminating information about the project,
and general administration.
Candidates should be graduates with excellent organisational skills, sound
and developing IT skills, and knowledge of, or interest in the relevant
fields. A library, information, archive or records management qualification
is desirable, though not essential.
