The following is posted with the permission of the listowners:
The Archives in Education Group of the Society of Archivists is
pleased to announce that it now has its own suite of pages on the
Society's website (www.archives.org.uk). These have been developed by members
of the AiEG committee together with Simon Wilson, the Society's webmaster,
and we hope that they will be of interest to archivists and to teachers. The
pages include information about the group and its activities; FAQs for
teachers; a 'Document Bank' of images accompanied by transcripts, questions and
activities and teachers notes; downloadable resources for archivists on topics
include writing an education policy and the National Curriculum; and links to a
number of relevant sites. Simon ([log in to unmask]) would be happy to
receive any comments about the design of the site, whilst more general comments
can be sent to any of the committee.
