To all interested colleagues,
In explanation of the job advert below....
The Department of Manuscripts at the University of Nottingham has
been awarded a Heritage Lottery Fund which will enable us to give
on-line access to selected collections - notably the D H Lawrence
Collection and the estate and family papers in the Duke of
Newcastle's archive.
This will build on considerable IT developments over the last few
years, for the past year with dedicated I.T. advice and support. We
have produced very extensive web resources, derived originally from
MODES data, and exported both to HTML and EAD. FAUN
(Finding Aids at the University of Nottingham), our dynaweb site, is
currently being tested and will be released shortly.
Please get in touch if you are interested and would like any more
information.
