Dear All,
Top of the morning to you all (afternoon now I suppose). Another Friday,
another exciting topic we can all get out teeth into in a
winding-down-to-the-weekend way!
Not that I want to disagree with Rich or Simon (who are both top blokes),
but isn't the title, Compliance Officer, too broad. It should really be
Records' Compliance Officer or Information Compliance Officer (since the
DP/FoI Commissioner will be the Information Commissioner soon). Otherwise
the job title may lead people to believe the post-holder was responsible for
all compliance within the certain public sector organisation including H&S
and all that mallarkey.
Best wishes
Matthew
