I also have just been contemplating buying labels, having had problems in
the past with labels that were supposed not to peel off, but had other
ideas! I was thinking of buying the PEL Perma/Seal foil-backed labels.
Does anyone have any experience of using these, and do they work?

Subject: Archival labels
Could anyone let me know the names of any companies who produce/supply
archival quality labels?
The labels will be used on 'archival' bound volumes which are being moved
to a temporary location during the refitting of the office's air
conditioning system. The records will be located off-site for upto five
years. The labels will therefore need to be archivally sound and also very
adhesive so as not to damage the records or peel off.
