Hi,
I am trying to get some information on the history of the development of
'black bronze' which I believe is bronze made with Copper, Tin and Silver. I
believe that it was first made in China and imported to Europe but then lost
to Europe on the decline of the Greek / Roman empires and only
're-discovered' from Japan many centuries later.
Can anyone help me with this? If you can point to web based resources so
much the better but any info would be appreciated.
I am not a metallurgist so please excuse my ignorance!
Thanks,
Scott.
