Coppergate in York produced four strike-a-lights and several suitable pieces of flint that could be used with them from the Anglo-Scandanavian contexts as well as evidence of both ferrous and non-ferrous working. I don't know if they came from contexts directly linked to metalworking or not as I can't currently read the microfiche with the catalogue details.
Some details of the strike-a-lights can be found in
Ottaway, P. (1992) Anglo-Scandanavian Ironwork from Coppergate. The Archaeology of York The Small Finds Volume 17/6 pages 679-81.
I hope this is of help.
Helen
