AN INTRODUCTION TO S-PLUS 2000

This course is suitable for those with some statistical background who
are new to S-PLUS transferring from another statistical package, or are
considering moving to S-PLUS 2000. The course is windows based and the
lectures will involve hands-on workshops in our modern statistics
laboratory.
The topics covered are the graphical user interface (visual display),
data manipulation, exploratory data analysis, and standard statistical
procedures. The course aims to introduce the participants to S-PLUS 2000,
enabling you to carry out basic analyses. It should provide the means
and confidence to further develop your knowledge in your own time.
