READER IN MATHEMATICS
Applicants for this permanent post should be experts in PROBABILITY THEORY
OR A CLOSELY RELATED SUBJECT who can contribute to the further development
of the probability research group, the main activities of which are
currently focused on Levy processes, stochastic analysis and quantum
probability. They should have an impressive research record with a number
of outstanding publications in high quality journals.
The post is on the principal lecturer scale with starting salary £28980 -
36438 depending on age and experience with a starting date of 1st January
2001.

Department and to play a significant part in its further development.
