Decode Genetics invites applications for the position of Senior Project
Manager within the statistics group.
We are seeking an individual with a Ph.D. degree in either statistics or
biostatistics, who has 5 or more years of experience in statistical
consulting, an outstanding record in methodological research in
collaboration and consultation with medical researchers, and superb
managerial skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication
skills. Individuals with less experience but otherwise impressive
credentials and with a particular interest in population-based
epidemiologic and genetic studies will also be considered.
The successful applicant is expected to take charge of a newly formed
group of 5 to 8 statisticians whose main task will be to develop novel
approaches to using medical information, in close collaboration with
healthcare professionals.
