Part time (2 ½ days weekly) Statistician
We are seeking a qualified statistician to join the staff of this large,
innovative and friendly Department as soon as possible to replace the
existing postholder, who has been awarded an NHS Primary Care Researcher
Development Award.
You will possess an undergraduate or higher degree in statistics or
equivalent and will have experience in team working, medical research,
statistical advisory work and analysis of data using common statistical
software, eg SPSS, SAS, STATA. Some experience of teaching statistics is
desirable.
You will be assisting in the design of major research proposals, writing
reports and papers for peer reviewed journals, developing teaching materials
and presenting statistical findings to a medical audience.
This is a varied, interesting and key post in a multidisciplinary Department
and you will need the flexibility to work according to the needs of various
projects. Salary is in the range £18,909 - £25,390 inc (Lecturer A) and
