Assessing Cognitive Functioning in Brain Damaged Patients

Abstract: This talk will focus on some of the tests and associated measures
which are used to assess aspects of cognition in patient populations including
schizophrenics and those with lesions in the frontal and temporal lobes
of the brain.
Speaker: Tish was for several years a semi-professional tennis player
practising with amongst others Greg Rusedski in her native Canada. A knee
injury brought an abrupt end to her on-court life and she entered academia
graduating in psychology from the University of York before coming to
Cambridge to do a PhD in Psychiatry.
Directions: Darwin College is situated on the right of Silver Street just
after the crossroads with Queen's Road as you approach the city. Free
parking is available opposite the college and in Queen's Road.
