Dear members,
I am working in ecophysiology and I have a question about the setting up =
of an experiment. I would like to determine the response function of =
plants to a given factor Y=3Df(X). I have no idea about the kind of =
function (linear, polynomial etc..). Given that I can only manipulate 20 =
plants at once, what is the best:
1) to test the plant response (Y) for 20 modalities of X . There will be =
no replicates for each X modality
2) to select 5 modalities for X with 4 replicates for each.=20
What is the best for fitting Y to different mathematical models?? Any =
literature references will help me. Thank you very much in advance,
Chris.
