MMR are seeking to recruit two statisticians to join their Data Analysis
team as soon as possible.
MMR is a dynamic and highly successful full service market research company
carrying out predominantly food and drink research. Established in 1989, the
Company employs 40 staff, 3 of whom are statisticians, and has an annual
turnover in excess of GBP 3M. We have helped develop some of Europe's
leading brands, conducting ad hoc research projects in the UK, Europe, USA
and beyond.
As a statistician at MMR you would be fully involved in project work from
the inception of the project to its completion. The work at MMR is extremely
varied and challenging providing the opportunity to use and develop a wide
range of mathematical and statistical tools.
Senior statistician - Ideally you will have an MSc in Statistics/Biometry
and around 4 years work experience in an area other than the Pharmaceutical
industry. You will be experienced in using a wide range of statistical
techniques to analyse data, including multivariate techniques, you will also
have experience of experimental design. As a senior statistician you will be
required to work in different project teams as the sole statistician and
will be responsible for all statistical aspects of the project. You will
also have excellent communication skills and be able to explain and
interpret complex statistical analyses for non statisticians from the most
junior to the most senior level.
Statistician - Ideally you will have an MSc in Statistics/Biometry or a BSc
with a minimum of 75% statistics, 1-2 years work experience and experience
of programming in SAS. You will have experience of a variety of
design/analysis techniques, preferably including multivariate analysis and
experimental design. As a Statistician you will work within the project team
(with support, if required, from a Senior statistician), advising on all
statistical aspects of the project.
For both posts you must be highly computer literate with experience of using
statistical analysis packages (ideally SAS), and MS Excel.
