We have recently had a divergence of opinion on 'star' conventions in our
office.
The older members use
* <.05
** <.01
*** <.001
while the younger members claim to have been taught
* <.1
** <.05
*** <.01.
Has there been a change in the convention?
Or are departments simply using a different textbook?
I'd welcome any advice
