Hello All,
I am a PhD student searching desparately for a monte-carlo simulation
software able to produce two or more randomised datasets (of integers)
with a pre-specified correlation (Pearson's r) between them.
Although I have received a piece of software able to produce correlated
datasets, these datasets are invariably comprised of z scores. I have
tried to convert the datapoints in the datasets into integers, by changing
their mean and sd to the desired specification, and then rounding the
resulting values to the nearest integers, but that invariably changes the
correlation between the datasets.
Does anyone know how I can get hold of a simulation software which produces
correlated randomised datasets comprised of discrete values???
