CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS
3RD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE CONTROL OF INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES
Conference Theme : Quality in Products and Services
9-11 July 2001
The conference series arose from the work of the Quality Improvement
Committee of the Royal Statistical Society and aims to bring together
professionals from business and industry, applied statisticians and
academics.
This meeting is hosted by City University, London, and organised jointly
with the Universities of Hertfordshire, Newcastle, Warwick and Sheffield
Hallam. The main conference will be held 10-11 July 2001 with
pre-conference short courses during the afternoon of 9 July.
Invited and contributed papers will explain how ideas and techniques can
be put into practice in areas such as manufacturing, financial control,
health management and environmental control, and the use and benefits of
the methods will be emphasised. All contributions will be refereed for
the published conference proceedings and extended versions of accepted
papers offered to mainstream journals.
