This e-mail list contains a wide range of material pertaining to 
statistics, with the emphasis being on statistical education.

The postings to EdStat are also available through the Usenet 
newsgroup sci.stat.edu  Some people find it more convenient to 
read the material through the newsgroup, since it is specifically 
designed to display material sent to such forums.  Most Internet 
users have access to more than 20,000 newsgroups that discuss a 
very wide range of topics.  To find out how to subscribe to

sci.stat.consult

This Usenet newsgroup discusses general issues about statistics.  
It formerly had a linked e-mail list called Stat-L, but the link 
has broken and the owner of the link has indicated that they do 
not intend to fix it.

This Usenet newsgroup tends to discuss the mathematical side of 
statistics.
