PHD STUDENTSHIP - MATHEMATICAL MODELLING OF ION CHANNEL DATA
*** TO START BY 1 JAN 2001 AT THE LATEST ***
------------------------------------------------------------
A BBSRC studentship is available to develop mathematical models
for various sets of ion channel data. The project will use a
variety of nonlinear and stochastic modelling techniques and
offers an exciting opportunity to develop modelling skills in
am important area of modern biology.
The project will be supervised by Martin Ridout, who is Reader
in Statistics at the University, and will involve collaboration
with Philip White, an electrophysiologist at Horticulture
Research International, Wellesbourne near Warwick.
