COURSE: Fitting Models to Pharmaceutical Data
=============================================
(21-22 November 2000 at Matrix House, Cowley Road,
Cambridge)
This course is designed for those who need to know how
to fit models to a variety of applications of interest
to pharmaceutical scientists, including dose response
curves. Emphasis will be placed on providing
participants with a practical understanding of how to
design more informative experiments in order to
extract more information and draw more sound
conclusions from models fitted to your data as well as
reduce the likelihood of rework.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The course is intended for researchers and scientists
from industry and academia involved in building
predictive models and applying them in practice.
COURSE OBJECTIVES?
After completing the course, participants will
understand how to:
- plan more informative experiments to extract more
information from their data;
- model and analyse their data more effectively using
MATLAB;
- build predictive models and test their assumptions
more rigorously;
- draw more sound conclusions from their experiments
and reduce the likelihood of rework.
FURTHER INFORMATION?
This course is another offering from the partnership
between PRISM Training & Consultancy Limited and The
Mathworks, distributors of the MATLAB software, who
will be hosting the event at their state-of-the-art
research centre in Cambridge.
