The web page given below is in fact the common sort of front page
in which form is preferred to content. It is not obvious where to go
for the guidelines ( and there is no link to "technology appraisals"
on this page) but at least it is equally difficult in Welsh (I suppose)
and English. To find the guidelines you have to
a. Click on Industry
b Scroll down beyond the job advert and the MI (Myocardial
Infarction?) guidelines to "Draft guidance to manufacturers and
sponsors 20 Oct. 2000 "
c Click on "copy of the Institute's draft guidance"
d. Click on "here"
e. Click on pdf/FirstDraftRevisedGuidance121000.pdf
If you want is to get there directly try
http://www.nice.org.uk/nice-
web/pdf/FirstDraftRevisedGuidance121000.pdf
You have until 10 November
Stephen Senn
PS How reassuring to discover that NICE is unware that an
organisation such as Statisticians in the Pharmaceutical Industry
(which has been issuing guidelines for standard operating
procedures for statistical analysis and data management for years
see
http://www.psiweb.org/pdf/gsop.pdf ) exists.
