SCOTTISH HOMES
OPPORTUNITIES FOR A CONTRACTED PERIOD OF 3 YEARS
Edinburgh Competitive Benefits Package
Now the third Scottish House Condition Survey is getting underway, Scotland's national housing agency is preparing to build up the team. We already co-ordinate over £400 million of government and private investment in quality, affordable housing, and we've helped to construct more than 70,000 houses during the past decade, but this survey is critical to influencing the future strategy in Scotland. The 2002 survey follows those in 1991 and 1996 which investigated national housing conditions on behalf of the Scottish Executive. Set up home with us for three years and you'll experience the highest levels of success, involvement and impact.
Statistical Officer up to £23,500 + PRP
Providing statistical support in all aspects of the development, fieldwork, analysis and dissemination of the SHCS 2002, you'll help to develop the survey's design and sampling options. In addition, you'll design data management systems, produce data tabulations and provide statistical advice. An experienced graduate, you'll be familiar with social surveys and applied statistics. You'll have IT skills, including SPSS, and no problem with meeting deadlines.
