My colleague is interested in ethnic classification in children. He writes:
>I want to focus specifically on children who do not present as
>being either white black asian chinese etc - in other words where they do
>not fit accurately into groups of racial origin.
>
>Getting in closer - if we took a sample of all the children who are non
>white in appearance - how many of them would be children with obvious mixed
>heritage?
It's a question about official statistics on ethnicity, with which I am not
familiar. I'd be grateful if knowledgeable people could send me pointers,
and I will summarise to the list.
