Researcher required for a project at the National Cancer Registry,
Ireland,investigating variations in cancer treatment in Ireland and
the impact of institutional and specialist factors on patient
outcome. The appointee should have a postgraduate qualification in
Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health or a related research discipline,
independent research skills, a good working knowledge
of at least one major statistical package and the ability to liaise
with medical and health service professionals. The work will be
based at the NCR in Cork. Funding from the Health Research Board is
for 2 years, at a salary of £22,000.
