Dear colleagues,
could any of you suggest a translation of 'plural attributive nouns' into
French? It's a phenomenon found for eg in English newspaper headlines where
a Noun + Noun structure has the first (attributive) noun in the plural, eg:
talks table, car bombs judge, headlights law, guns case girl...
Many thanks, Dulcie Engel
