>From dealing with the SLC last year, I've found the only way to get
solid confirmation is to send E-mails with receipt confirmation
(Pegasus check box on new message editor and Outlook "Request Read
Receipt" in Tools menu). However, these can be canceled by the
recipient, leaving you none the wiser.
If you ring to confirm, they have a habit of losing the files and
acting as if they never received them (and blaming it on the temps).
The HEI helpdesk might be convinced to send you a mail confirming
receipt, if you have some patience (even though there is an
officialized statement on their website stating they do not
communicate by Email). Get everything written, preferably confirming
file length or size (or they'll lose half of it).
I sent some updates to the 2000 data pretty recently which seemed to
be received without a hitch. Just send the corrections/additions in
the body of the mail, or as an Excel sheet.
And, no, I've not received any confirmation letters either.
