The features which would help us most are:
1. Retain counterfoils - not lists - to be signed.
2. Make the print size larger - to ease eye strain.
3. Print and deliver the largest possible batch of cheques a week
before term begins. Later batches to arrive on predictable days.
Lots of small batches arriving erratically and having to be sorted into
a single alpha run was tedious. Having the same students come to
the issue point day after day to be turned away after the staff had
looked for the 3rd /4rth time was tiresome. We would have like to
have been able to say "The next delivery will be on.........".
Otherwise at this distance it didn't seem too bad. The main problem
was that students had so often not understood that they had to send
the form to the SLC. Get that bit right and there should be more
cheques to issue at the time we have the booked space and staff to
issue them.
