At Imperial any student whose fee exceeds £2000 may opt for instalments; 3
per year, facility charge of 4% of total fee for paying this way, payable
with first instalment.
Only exception is UG students under the new funding arrangements whose
personal liability exceeds £350. These students may opt for facility-fee
free instalments of which there are two - one at the end of Autumn and
Spring terms.
Problems - multi payment handling for all concerned; some default on third
instalment leaving a short time between the due date and examinations.
