1. the HEFCE tell me that they will use HESA data to adjust
HESES 99 for recalculating Standard Resource. This makes
no difference to your funding if it keeps you inside the 5%
tolerance.
2. who knows? It must be hard for them to tell what is in
the margin, especially if you win a bid when you are
already over MaSN plus tolerance.
