Here in Manchester we make no such allowance since our load transfer
pricing mechanism shares any "profit" resulting from the transfer of
load from one higher earning subject area to another lower earning
subject area. We have recently introduced arrangements for dealing
on an ad hoc basis with the additional administrative costs
associated with interdisciplinary activity, where one dept. acts as
administrator for all the other participants.
