Dear Colleague
LFT usually stands for Liver Function Test, in the plural usually written LFTs (Liver Function Tests). It usually means ASAT, ALAT, ALP, bilirubin, albumin. These tests are, well understood, generally tests of dysfunction or liver damage, rather than true tests of function.
Kind regards

Subject: LFT?
As clinical chemist working in Belgium, I am sometimes confused by
abreviations used by colleagues. I understand that they use terms specific
to the health system in their country, but what about LFT? What does it mean
exactly? Laboratory (F?) Test?
Best regards.
