The history of science and technology, 1801-1914: a collaborative
retrospective conversion and conservation programme (HOST)
Applications are invited for the post of HOST Project Officer in the Whipple
Library. The postholder will have delegated responsibility for the
cataloguing of the Library's nineteenth-century collections, and will assist
in selecting items for conservation.
We are seeking a professionally qualified librarian with experience in an
academic library. Knowledge of AACR2, UKMARC and LCSH is essential, as is
previous experience of automated library systems. The appointment will be
for eight months on the Research Assistant scale (£16,286-£18,185 p.a. pro
rata).
