CoFHE (North West)- the Library Association Colleges Of
Further and Higher Education Group - announce their Summer
Seminar which will be held at the new Arts Centre,
Liverpool Community College on Thursday 29th June 2000.
The theme of this year's Summer Seminar is 'The Switched On
Campus - Glimpses into Tomorrow's World'. Speakers include
Meg Gain from BECTA and Mary Barker from NILTA. They will
be giving an overview of new and emerging good practice in
the field of learning resources and information and
learning technology while providing some glimpses into the
future. Workshops will also allow delegates to explore
themes such as the reality of electronic journals, DNER and
the implications for FE, NILTA and the North West, peer
assessment, together with library services for distance
learners. Networking opportunities will abound!
Price £50 (2 free places available for unwaged members
courtesy of the LA North Western Branch (Details from Val
