for subscription from June 1st 2000 to July 31st 2002 under a special
agreement.
Summary information about each database is given below. For further
details and to request a free 30-day institutional trial - AVAILABLE NOW -

http://edina.ac.uk/news.html or email: [log in to unmask]
As with most EDINA services, access to the four new services is via
personal or shared Athens accounts, and sites wishing to subscribe to these
services must first be registered to use the Athens registration and
authentication system. Refer to http://www.athens.ac.uk/ for details.
Weblinks
--------
EDINA and Ovid have been developing links to holdings and full-text from
bibiographic databases; the resulting facility is known as 'Weblinks'.
Links are available for nearly all database records, and are accessible
from the page displaying a full record resulting from a database search.
We can provide links that are customized for each subscribing site,
including holdings catalogues or full text services (providing the target
is technically capable of accepting a search request).
For the 30-day free trial we have developed a prototype interface with a
sample list of links, including Edinburgh University Library as an
example of a local Web OPAC. If it is technically possible, your own
library OPAC can be added; details are available on request to
[log in to unmask] .
