INFORMATION SERVICES
Applications are invited for the post of Liaison Librarian within the
Learning and Research Support Division, to provide support for
teaching, learning and research in the Schools of Dentistry and
Biosciences. As well as advice and enquiry work, collection
development and the preparation of printed and electronic
publications, the postholder will be actively involved in delivering
our research skills programme and liasing closely with academic
staff. The successful candidate will also provide support for
web-based learning and resources.
Candidates should have formal education to degree level. A minimum of
two years experience in an appropriate library or information
environment is essential, as are good interpersonal and presentation
skills. A good working knowledge of a range of information sources,
experience in leading group training sessions and of academic liaison
work could be an advantage.
Salary range: stlg25,452 - stlg30,065
