Apologies for cross-posting.
Dear List,
We are having a problem at the moment in connection with the age rating of
some of the films which we are recording for our film and video students.
The feature films are closed access, so the students have to ask a member
of staff for them. We currently limit the courses who are able to borrow
feature films, but some of the foundation students have chosen to study
films and therefore are allowed access to them. Some of these students are
also under 18. Also we currently have no way of distinguishing the
students who are under 18.
Do any other colleges have this problem?
Does anybody have any way of marking the '18' films so that staff
immediately recognise them?
Do the students have something on their borrower record to indicate their
age?
I would like to know how anybody else deals with this problem, and also
any suppliers of '18' stickers maybe.
Do you have any other suggestions?
Please reply to me personally. If any one would like me to summarise the
replies, I will do so for them.
Many thanks
