Library Accounts Officer (CRA4)
A vacancy exists for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to
provide support for accounting routines in a major UK academic Research
Library.
Your primary duties will be to provide financial support relating to the
receipt of monies received by the Library, and matters relating to payments
made. You will also assist with the preparation of financial management
information and the use of and development of appropriate databases as
required. Occasional assistance to the Administrative Support Team will be
required, as determined by the needs of the service.
Proven experience in a financial related area is essential. The successful
candidate would normally have a qualification in accountancy, or currently
be studying for one. You should possess excellent numeracy skills and be
proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software, in particular the Word
and Excel packages. Experience of the Access Database would be an
advantage. The ability to exercise a high degree of integrity and deal
discreetly with confidential information is paramount, as is the ability to
work on your own initiative within established guidelines, sometimes under
pressure as part of a team.

Starting Salary in the range £15,666 - £17,798 (incl. L.A.)
