• Profile
  Phillip Webb is an experienced senior manager and strategic planner
with wide contacts in Industry and Defence circles. Phillip’s career
covered the fields of electrical, electronic and nuclear engineering
before moving into the computer science discipline. Phillip has
published and spoken extensively on IT and Knowledge Management and
represents DERA on numerous national and international committees.

  Phillip took up the post of Director of Information Systems for DRA in
1991. With the formation of DERA in 1995 Phillip assumed wider
responsibility for the timely and effective delivery of all business and
scientific information throughout DERA and the development and
exploitation of DERA’s knowledge base. The rapid growth in technology,
Market Testing, Outsourcing and the exploitation of e-Business have
formed the backdrop to Phillip’s task of developing DERA’s role in the
Knowledge Economy.

• Venue
  The event will take place in the Staff Club Restaurant.
  The Staff Club is located on John Street next to the Sports Centre.
