We have recently been tasked with recovering the cost of providing services
to external borrowers and those using our enquiry service. We have also
introduced a membership fee and this has raised the question of where does
VAT need to be added and where not. Our finance department seem unable to
find clear guidance.
Has anyone else come across this?
The college is more a training establishment than a strict educational
environment and this maybe where the difficulty lies.
All experiences would be helpful.
