Many thanks to everyone who responded to my enquiry for a Front of
House group. I received over 15 replies all indicating that there is a
need for such a forum and a willingness to sign up for one.
To take a quantum leap, ideally I'd like to see a physical as well as a
virtual body, something akin to the BBSLG (British Business Schools
Librarians Group). A recognisable group who can put pressure on
suppliers, who also act as an information point for "front of house"
issues. Even meet for conference once a year and hold events
occassionally. It could be seen as a broad sweep but its imperative
that we explore how our buildings, access and services can and are
going to change and how best to deal with it.
Incidentally, I have found a US based list called circplus

It offers some useful insights.
Best wishes
