femaleness further down, complete with the usual irrelevant details about spouse,
number of children, etc. It also reveals approximately what the new Chief
Executive's salary will be.
Colleagues tell me that the Yorkshire Evening Post's headline was "Leeds woman
gets top library job", as if it had gone to, say, Mel B.
